I had an amazing experience at this boutique hotel, which is beautifully decorated and located in the heart of the historic district. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The dining options were excellent, with a complimentary breakfast that was both fresh and tasty. However, our initial experience with the check-in process was inconsistent, and I hope they improve that aspect. Overall, a lovely place to stay with character and charm.

My experience at El Marques was quite the rollercoaster. The hotel has a lot of charm and character, and the ambiance is lovely, but the service left much to be desired. While I did appreciate the beautiful design and the romantic setting, my interactions with the staff were frustrating, especially when it came to the room issues. Despite being initially excited, my disappointment grew due to service shortcomings, particularly when it came to the promised upgrades and assistance.

My experience at the hotel was quite polarizing. On one hand, the charming and relaxing ambience made my stay enjoyable, and the staff member Junior truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. However, the discrepancies with room bookings and unprofessional behavior from certain staff left a sour note. Overall, it had its highs and lows, but I was particularly impressed by the relaxing atmosphere and helpful staff.
